The Treatment-Resistant Schizophrenia IDentifier (TRS-ID) is a tool designed for Canadian healthcare professionals. This app can help you identify treatment-resistant schizophrenia in your patients. Treatment-resistant schizophrenia is defined as patients with schizophrenia who are intolerant of, or non-responsive to, at least two types of conventional antipsychotic drugs.

IDENTIFY
Identify treatment-resistant schizophrenia using an algorithm that defines treatment resistance as two failed trials of antipsychotics.

ASSESS
Assess whether or not your patient is responsive to their current treatment using the Clinical Global Impression – Schizophrenia (CGI-SCH) scale. The CGI-SCH scale is quick to complete.

The CGI-SCH scale may be useful in assessing the effectiveness of, and response to, treatment. It is not meant to be used as a sole measure to determine if a patient is responsive to pharmacotherapy.

INITIATE TREATMENT
Reference the key steps and materials required to initiate a specific medication indicated for treatment-resistant schizophrenia, using a step-by-step approach.

DOSING
Gain access to a clear and concise dosing tool that provides guidance on how to properly titrate a specific medication indicated for treatment-resistant schizophrenia. Also includes a section on the management of common adverse events.

SAFETY INFORMATION
View important safety information relating to a specific medication indicated for treatment-resistant schizophrenia.
